Overview
Concept
Del Sur is a master planned community located just 20 minutes north of San Diego. The community has been a leader in sustainability for several years and continues to set higher standards for their new homes. Two sustainability efforts, water conservation and recycling are very apparent when visiting Del Sur.

The community has many amenities, including 7 pools, parks, trails, open spaces, and a community center for gatherings. There are several schools nearby. Overall the community will have 18 miles of hiking trails spread over 1,800 acres of open space. The Del Sur Ranch House is LEED Platinum certified.
Homes
The development features 11 neighborhoods and offers homes of all different architectural styles. There are condos, townhomes and single family homes available. Different neighborhoods feature different builders, so green standards aren't universal across the development. There are 30 models available to tour throughout the community.
Del Sur incorporates solar panels on a minimum of 20% of the homes built, meeting up to 50% of the homes power needs. Residents who purchase homes with solar panels are also receive a $2,000 federal tax credit.
Getting Around
Getting to San Diego and Los Angeles is easy. Del Sur is located just a few miles off of I-5. San Diego is a 20 minute trip, while LA is a couple hour commute. Access to Highway 56 and I-15 is also nearby. Del Sur is located just 7 miles from the beach!
