Overview

Concept

Harmony is a Master-planned green community located in Osceola County, Florida. The community is designed to create a balanced environment where both humans and nature can thrive. Much of this balance has been created by leaving 7,700 acres of the community as open space, which provides a sanctuary for the local wildlife and stunning views for the residents.

Harmony has been recognized by several organizations as a great eco-friendly place to live. In addition to being certified by the Florida Green Building Coalition, Harmony was also chosen as a top Master-planned community by Where to Retire Magazine®.

In addition to the sprawling open prairie, the community also offers the following green amenities:

2 fishing lakes offering nearly 1,000 acres of open water
A championship golf course, which borders a beautiful wildlife habitat
Streetlights designed to prevent unnecessary up lighting - Harmony is committed to maintaining dark skies
Dozens of parks, nature trails, and dog parks for residents and animals to enjoy

Neighborhood

There are great K-12 schools all within walking distance from the community, which makes getting the kids to school a breeze. Within the community there is a Town Center, which plays host to many community activities. There is also a large pool, where families can come enjoy the sunny Florida days.

There is a full time social director who puts out a monthly calendar of activities, which include things like kids fishing, golf tournaments, mom & me activities, and yoga, among many more.

Neighborhoods are set up in a way that promotes outdoor socializing. Homes have large front porches and are built near the sidewalks. Streets are quiet and include a variety of different home types.

Homes

Harmony offers several different types of homes which include villas, townhomes, single family homes, and large custom homes. Residences range in size from 1,305 to 6,216 square feet and there are 8 floorplans to choose from.

All homes at Harmony are built to be within federal Energy Star© and Florida Water Star™ standards. This means that the homes include insulated windows, high efficiency HVAC systems, energy efficiency appliances, low flow faucetry, and a highly insulated building shell. Solar water heaters are an option on most homes.

Transportation

Harmony's location in east central Florida puts residents within a short drive of dozens of national attractions. Disney World, Universal Studios, and water parks are about 35 miles away, while the Orlando Airport is about 30 miles away. There are also healthcare facilities, grocery stores, and restaurants within 10 miles of the community. Did we mention that the ocean is only about a one hour drive?

Most transportation outside of the community is done by automobile. Within the community there are enough walking and biking paths for residents to get around without the use of a vehicle.
