Overview

Concept

Dupont Commons is a Master-planned community which is located in west Atlanta, inside of the perimeter. The community of 300 single family homes and townhomes has won several awards for its great homes and smart design.

In 2007 the community was chosen as the Best New Subdivision by readers of the Sunday Paper. The builder, Brock Built, was also selected as the EarthCraft Builder of the Year in 2009.

Brock Built takes extreme care when developing a community. The homes are carefully placed in relation to the street and sidewalks, creating a cohesive and comfortable feel. The homes themselves are also carefully planned in accordance with EarthCraft standards, which means using smarter materials, and saving significantly on energy costs.

Neighborhood

Wide sidewalks wind around the community and pass by homes with large front porches which are built close to the street to encourage socializing. There are several park areas spread throughout the community, making it easy to get outside and enjoy nature, even while being just a few miles from downtown. Green spaces are also spread around, which helps to manage rainwater runoff, and makes for more enjoyable views.

At the center of Dupont Commons is an impressive clubhouse, which is well designed and easy to access. The clubhouse features a workout room, gathering spaces, and an Olympic size swimming pool, which is popular with residents.

Outside of the community gates, there are endless possibilities for entertainment and shopping within a very small radius. Theaters, restaurants, boutiques, and places of worship are all nearby. There are several schools nearby as well.

Homes

Dupont Commons offers both townhomes and single family homes. There are over 20 floorplans to choose from. Homes generally feature large kitchens and family rooms and lots of light through abundant windows. Outdoor spaces are common on the front and back of many homes.
