Overview
Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood is well known for its proximity to transportation, abundant trees, easy walkability to restaurants and shops, and terrific skyline views. The Fountain View, a new construction, energy-efficient condominium project in Lincoln Square, is adding even more charm to this neighborhood. The development is located next to a large public plaza, which features, as you may have guessed, a beautiful fountain.
This project, which will be a mix of 18 condo units and 8,000 square feet of retail space when complete, has been designed with dozens of green features. Among our favorites:
- Bamboo flooring
- Recycled carpeting in all bedrooms
- 6 inches of insulation in the walls between interior units
- A separate trash chute for recycling
- A green roof with rooftop vegetation
Energy models predict that Fountain View will use as much as 33% less energy than comparable buildings. Plus, as much as 97% of the construction debris was recycled!
Based on articles and review, the residents of Fountain View seem to appreciate the thought that went into the interior layouts and finishes as much as they do the location. Units are selling quickly.
