Concept
The Landing at Southpoint is an intimate new-construction luxury condo community, located in Durham, NC. The building provides an urban feel while being surrounded by the beautiful natural landscapes that central North Carolina is known for. The community is adjacent to a federally protected preserve. The Landing at Southpoint is the first condo development in North Carolina to apply for LEED certification. 
 
Located in The Triangle region of North Carolina, residents of The Landing at Southpoint are sure to enjoy their fantastic location. The green condos lie within just a few miles of plentiful restaurants, shopping, and entertainment facilities. There are also several cultural attractions and first rate education facilities in the area. Just a few minutes from The Landings are also several trails, which provide miles of lush walking and biking paths. 
 
The development will be built in two phases. Phase one includes two buildings containing 54 condos and phase two will include the remaining 106 units. There is a beautiful Clubhouse currently under construction which is sure to be the hit of the development. 
 
The Landing at Southpoint is building towards two separate green certifications. First, all condos will be Energy Star certified. In general this means a much more efficient home in regards to energy usage. The developer is also seeing LEED for Homes certification for the project. Attaining this certification will guarantee that the property is built to the highest levels of energy efficiency (30-60% savings). A LEED for Homes certification also takes into account the location of the development in proximity to conveniences, the use of sustainable building materials, and the protection of the natural environment at the building site.  
 
Neighborhood
Amenities at The Landing at Southpoint are quite impressive. A central Clubhouse offers many luxury amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, steam and locker rooms, and billiards rooms. There are also areas to relax and watch TV. The Fitness Center covers 2 floors and over 900 square feet, it will feature great strength training and cardio equipment. 
 
Adjacent to the clubhouse is an impressive outdoor pool and spa. The pool features a relaxing sundeck, with several private cabanas. There is also a hot tub to relax and enjoy the beautiful North Carolina weather. 
 
Homes
Condos at The Landing at Southpoint are focused around the principals of welcoming abundant natural light and focusing on creating an uncluttered design. The units feel open and airy with several including outdoor spaces. Interior finishes include hardwood floors, granite counters, tile bathrooms, fireplaces and much more. Elevator access is available for all units.

Transportation
The community is located 1/4 mile north of I-40 on Highway 751. 1.5 miles from the Southpoint Mall. Due to it's location inside The Triangle, most conveniences are just a short drive away. Public transportation is not readily available in this area at the current time. We hope this changes soon!
