Zona Lofts is a striking 15 story loft building located in the heart of historic Asheville, North Carolina. The building will feature 161 units and a variety of amenities. Zona Lofts was developed using sustainable principals and contains some of the most innovative eco-friendly features used to date. Green building features include:
- Rainwater collection & storage for use in flushing toilets
- Solar hot water systems & tankless how water heaters
- Photovoltaic panels on the roof
- Energy efficient building shell & High efficiency mechanical systems
The rainwater collection system is expected to save as much as 400,000 gallons of water per year. Significant energy savings can be expected for residents and the association due to a combination of active solar and energy saving mechanical systems.
Neighborhood
Sustainability isn't just about green features, it's also about location. The developers of Zona Lofts recognized this important fact, and choose a location that is right in the center of downtown Asheville. This will mean more walking and less driving for residents, and access to all of the cultural experiences that Asheville has to offer. Inside the building, residents will also find conveniences which make every day life more enjoyable. Zona Lofts will contain a central lobby and tenant common areas throughout the building. Homes
Zona lofts offers studios, one bedroom, and two bedroom units. There are also several one and two story penthouses which occupy the top floors of the building. Units range from under 500 square feet to over 1,600 square feet. All units have a balcony and a wall of windows, which provides views of the surrounding city and beautiful mountains.
