Overview
Concept/Neighborhood
Mosier Creek Place is a 5 acre green community which is most notable for their incorporation of solar energy throughout the property. Every unit is mounted with photovoltaic and solar thermal roof panels which will offset electric usage and provide up to 40% of the energy needed to heat water.
Half of the property is devoted to maintaining the native landscape (creeks and grasslands) and the other half will incorporate drought tolerant native landscaping. Rain water runoff systems have been put into place to filter the water through bio-swales prior to dispersing into the nearby creek. This will minimize the effect of the development on the nearby plants and wildlife.
The Homes

Transportation
Mosier is located about an hour to the east of Portland along the Columbia River. Travel to surrounding towns and Portland is done mostly by car, with Interstate 84 located near the community. The town of Mosier offers many outdoor activities like hiking, fishing and bird watching. Mosier is located along the Cascade Mountain range.
