Concept
Trace Lofts & Trace North are adjacent properties located in Seattle's vibrant Pike/Pine Corridor. Trace Lofts are an infill project using all three levels of the original mercantile building and two levels added above. Trace North is a 100 unit new construction building adjacent to the lofts which increases the retail offering. The buildings employ a mixture of historical and modern architecture which is very esthetically pleasing . Over 90% of construction waste from the site was diverted from landfills. The development features a community roof top garden.
Trace places special emphasis on providing commercial space only to a mix of specialty dining and unique retails shops that they will feel add to the neighborhood. It appears to be working as nearly all of the retail spaces are full and the neighborhood buzz grows by the day.
The Homes
The individual units employ the use of both recycled materials and energy efficiency measures. Units feature modern finishes like: cork flooring throughout most of the living space, ceramic countertops and backsplashes, recycled vinyl flooring in the bathroom, and low pile carpet in the bedroom.
The lofts will feature exposed beams and brick with ceiling heights ranging from 9 to over 13 feet. Large windows display the beautiful city and unique neighborhood which surround the project.
Transportation
Getting around is easier than ever for Trace residents. There is easy access to both bus and light rail systems. All units include a parking spot, for transportation by car (if even necessary). Trace claims a perfect 100 "walkscore"; a rating of 0-100 based on the walkability of bars, drugstores, schools, etc…
